The Tyros AG invests in companies that aim to play a key role in the
blockchain world. Both, the technology of Blockchain and the selected companies
are so disruptive that they can quickly lead to a market leadership.
Paul ffolkes Davis serves as the Bursar of Trinity Hall, Cambridge, and as Vice-Chairman of Cambridge & Counties Bank (CCB), the financial institution formed by Trinity Hall and the Cambridge Local Government Pension Fund. Mr. Davis served as the entity’s founding Chairman, which is now the College’s most valuable single investment in the endowment.
As a corporate financier and equity capital markets specialist, Mr. David held directorships with NM Rothschild & Sons Limited, NatWest Markets and Rabobank International.
Mr. Davis is a graduate of Magdalen College Oxford.
Andrew Brandt is a technologist and investor based in Boulder, Colorado. Mr. Brandt serves a Managing Director of DigitalWasabi LLC, a software engineering firm. Mr. Brandt has particular expertise in developing enterprise systems and real-time transactional platforms. As a technology executive, he has been involved in IPOs for three software companies and filed numerous patents.
Mr. Brandt has served as an engineer, software developer and technical consultant for firms such as Pixar, GE Aerospace, Broderbund Software, Gamebryo, Sona Mobile, New Frontier Media, CrowdFunder, Digital Caddies, InterActive Corp and the United States Department of Homeland Security.
Mr. Brandt holds a BS in Computer Engineering from the University of California at San Diego, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude, and earned an MS in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina.
Delf Ness is an international strategy and marketing executive based in Germany. Most recently, he served as the Managing Director of stilwerk GmbH, overseeing global strategic marketing and international expansion. He is the founder of DPG, The Digital Interactive Outdoor Board.
An expert in the sports and entertainment markets, he has consulted for Mercedes Benz, Emirates, Heineken, and as the naming rights advisor for the AOL Arena and Allianz Arena, among others
Mr. Ness serves on the Board of the German Hockey Federation. He earned a BA at the University of Arizona and Master of Science in Broadcasting at Boston University.
William Wei Wang is an early stage investor. Mr. Wang has a track record of early stage investment globally in the technology and consumer marketplace. His portfolio has included Mami Central, leading post-partum care centers; Wokoon, environmental technology services for enterprises; and Bluesoul, marine emissions treatments. Mr. Wang was an early investor in Meituan-Dianping, China’s largest on-demand service provider and Shunfeng Express, China’s largest express delivery company, which trades on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.
Peter Giese is a US-based entrepreneur and brand strategist. Mr. Giese serves as the Managing Director and founder of Nice Touch, a creative agency and web development company in Portland, Oregon. An electrical engineer by training, Mr. Giese advises early stage companies throughout the United States.
Ivan Ivanov is a Cambridge trained mathematician who has served in senior development and software architecture roles for hedge funds and companies including D.E. Shaw, Google and Flatiron Health. He is an early proponent of blockchain technologies and their impact on markets. Science in Broadcasting at Boston University.
Mark Appel is currently doing a M. Sc. in Business Administration with a focus on Finance in Cologne. After various positions at PwC Mr. Appel came to Tyros, where he heads the finance department and is part of the core CGift Germany team.
Dieter Linnekogel holds a BA in Business Administration with a focus on international relations at the Hochschule Fresenius in Hamburg. Mr. Linnekogel worked for the „Nordpol + Kommunikationsagentur“ as a project manager and consultant. At Tyros, he heads the customer acquisition division and is part of the core CGift Germany team.
Philip Rothländer completed a BA in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing Management at the Hochschule Fresenius in Hamburg. Among other things, he works for „Konzeptwerft Holding GmbH“, a sports marketing agency. Mr. Rothländer manages the operations division of Tyros and is part of the core team CGift Germany.
